Here we’ll give you a breakdown of the 2026 Rides4ALZ route and provide some other handy tools for June 27th – along with footage of the ride itself! For your convenience, the 94-mile route is available to save as a PDF file and use on the day of the ride (print outs will also be available).
Kickstands Up
In honor of celebrating Alzheimer’s San Diego’s 10th year serving the community, this event will look different for 2026. The new kick off point will be on Woodward Ave in the northwest corner lot of the California Center for the Arts in Escondido. Registration will begin at 7:30am and riders will start heading out at 8:30am from there. Riders will first head through Escondido to hop on S6 passing between the Dixon Reservoir and Bottle Peak. Before reaching Valley Center, we’ll head slightly northwest up to the 76, then pass through the Pala Reservation and Pauma Valley before hitting Rincon. The journey continues through the La Jolla Reservation, past Lake Henshaw, and we stop in Santa Ysabel to conclude the first leg of Rides4ALZ and reach the pit stop.
Pit Stop
The pit stop will be in the lot of Dudley’s Bakery in Santa Ysabel where riders can rest, get a quick bite, chat with other riders, use the restroom, and anything else need before heading out for the second half of the ride.
2nd leg & After Party
After leaving the pit stop, we’ll head onto the 78 through the valleys and mountains towards Ramona. Here we’ll turn up to the Clevenger Canyon, past the Safari Park, and reach the after party destination back in Escondido. The after party will be held at Kit Carson Park with a beer garden, food, a live band, opportunity drawings, and more fun!
Register now for the ride on June 27th, plus non-riders can get tickets to join us at the after party! For any Rides4ALZ questions, visit our Rides website, call us at 858.966.3319, or email rides4ALZ@alzsd.org.
