Thank you to everyone who attended the sold-out Visionary Luncheon & Auction! More than $120,000 was raised for Alzheimer’s support and research – and as always, every dollar will stay in San Diego County. We were thrilled to honor the inimitable Linda Cioffi as the 2019 Visionary of the Year. Watch the video below to learn more about her inspirational work as the captain of the Walk4ALZ Team Quest for the Cure. We’ll see you next year!
Why Alzheimer’s San Diego
Alzheimer’s can feel like an impossible disease. But at Alzheimer’s San Diego, we know that people can still live well after a diagnosis. We recognize the dignity of every person living with dementia, and empower them to play an active role in planning their own future care. We see the heartache this disease inflicts on families, and we’re here to give them the support and knowledge they need to become strong care partners – and to find joy in even the darkest moments. And we’re working to make Alzheimer’s a disease of the past, by connecting people to clinical trials and funding research for a cure.
Every dollar raised stays in San Diego County.
All of our programs and services are free of charge.
We help an average of 25,000 people each year.
Who are our Visionaries?
Visionaries are the foundation of our work. Their generosity directly helps local families affected by dementia and funds research for a cure. You can join the Visionary Circle by donating either $100 each month or $1,200 once a year to Alzheimer’s San Diego. Thank you for sharing our vision of a world free from Alzheimer’s disease.
