If you’re worried about the memory loss of a parent or any loved one, consider taking advantage of free memory screenings with Alzheimer’s San Diego. This tool creates a baseline to refer back to in case there are noticeable changes in memory and cognition as time passes. These 30-minute evaluations are conducted in-person Monday through Friday and can be scheduled for our office in Kearny Mesa or at One Safe Place – northern office in San Marcos and southern office in National City (we’ll start scheduling at the southern location beginning in April). They can also be conducted in Spanish at any of these locations.
What Do You Get Out of Memory Screenings?
- Immediate results
- A baseline measurement
- Information on treatable causes of memory loss and confusion
- Tips on brain health
- Guidance and support
- Information about getting a diagnosis
