It’s an absolute honor to be the new President/CEO of Alzheimer’s San Diego. If we haven’t met yet, I hope to become a familiar face to you soon.

Please know that for me, our mission is personal. I’ve worked with people living with dementia since I was 16. I’ve lost two family members to Alzheimer’s and endured the uncertainty, heartache and pain that comes with it. I’ve dedicated my entire career to senior care, most recently as the Executive Director of a local assisted living and memory care facility. I’m excited to put my experience as a caregiver, fundraiser and leader to work for Alzheimer’s San Diego, and to make 2018 our best year yet.

My ultimate hope for the organization is that we someday become irrelevant – thanks to the discovery of a treatment or cure. But until that day comes, I’ll work tirelessly with the incredible team here to ensure no San Diegan has to face this disease alone.

Please feel free to reach out if I can ever be of help. You can call me directly at 858.966.3301 or email me at ewelch@alzsd.org.

Warmly,

Eugenia Welch
